Passed away peacefully at the Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital on Monday 7 September 2026 aged 94 years.

Basil is lovingly remembered by his daughters Joanne and Nicola, his sister-in-law Felicity and son-in-law Simon. He will be so greatly missed by all his family and friends. He was a true gentleman, who had many interests during his long life.

He is now at peace with his beloved Jean.

Funeral service will take place at St Michael the Archangel Church, Chagford on Friday 16 October 2026 at 2pm.
